The evening will hold a FREE Avalanche Awareness Class (signup encouraged), and a Pint Night benefiting NWAC.
$1 for every pint + mug and $4 for every pitcher sold during the event will be donated.

The Northwest Avalanche Center (NWAC) will be hosting a FREE avalanche class. This 90-minute presentation is geared towards any wintertime backcountry user, traveling in a winter environment. Whether you ski, snowshoe, snowboard, or snowmobile, recognition of avalanche danger is an essential and potentially life saving skill. This introductory class provides a basic approach to managing risk in a winter environment, in the backcountry. NWAC instructors will explain how to access avalanche and mountain weather forecasts and recognize basic signs of avalanche danger.

Approximate Schedule:
- 4:30 pm: Social hour + Pint Night starts
- 5:30 pm: Avalanche Awareness Class starts
- 6:15 pm: Break for beverages
